GRIFFIN, THE. AKA - "Griffin's Hornpipe (The)." Scottish, Canadian; Hornpipe. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The melody appears in the c. 1850 music manuscript copybook of Lake District (Cumbria) musician William Irwin as an untitled hornpipe.
