The melody was printed by London music publisher John Johnson in his Choice Collection of 200 Favourite Country Dances, vol. 6 (1751, p. 3), then picked up by John Walsh for his Compleat Country Dancing Master, Volume the Sixth (1754, p. 58) and finally David Rutherford inRutherford's Compleat Collection of 200 of the Most Celebrated Country Dances (1756, p. 10).
