HIGH PARK CORNER. English, Country Dance Tune or Jig (6/4 time). D Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. Six measures to each part. In addition to Daniel Wright's 1740 country dance collection (printed in London by John Johnson), the tune appears in John Walsh's The Third Book of the Compleat Country Dancing-Master (London, 1735, p. 148, and the edition of 1749, p. 146).

High Park Corner is a hamlet in the county of Essex, England, however the title may refer to Hyde Park Corner in London [1], located at the south-east corner of Hyde Park. It is a major intersection where five London streets converge.
