HIGHLAND SCHOTTISCHE, THE. AKA and see "John Simi's," "McConnell's Highland (The)." Irish, Schottische. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). One part. Nominally in 'G' major as it has one sharp and begins on a 'G' chord, however, the tune rests on 'D' and is in D mixolydian.
