Irish, Jig (6/8 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABBCCDDEE. The tune appears under this title in the John Edward Pigot (1822–1871) manuscripts in the Royal Irish Academy, Dublin. County Cork uilleann piper and Church of Ireland cleric James Goodman (musicologist) (1828-1896) copied the tune from Pigot and entered it into Book 2 of his own mid-19th century music manuscript collection.
