HUMOURS OF WHISKEY [2] (Pléaraca an Fuisce). AKA and see "Barranna mora Chlann Donncha," "Crossroads Frolic (The)," "Deel of the Dance," "Dever the Dancer," "Dillon's Fancy (2)," "Humors of Derry," "Peeler's Return (The)/Policeman's Return (The)." Irish, Slip Jig. Ireland, County Donegal. E Minor {Sullivan}: E Minor ('A' part) & D Mixolydian ('B' part) {Breathnach}: B Minor ('A' part) & D Major ('B' part) {Feldman & O'Doherty, Taylor}. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB (Breathnach, Taylor): ABB (Feldman & O'Doherty): AABB (Sullivan). A popular slip jig in County Donegal, although there are different versions (fiddler John Doherty called his version "Sally Hegarty's" AKA "Humors of Whiskey (3)" but, while the second strains are the same as "Humors of Whiskey [2]", the first stains are different. Likewise, the first part of "Bridge of Athlone (1) (The)" is the same as "Humors of Whiskey [2]", though the 'B' parts differ. See also the related "Kitten (The)."
