JACKSON'S CUP. Irish. One of the tunes attributed to the mid-18th century Irish gentleman musician and composer Walker (sometimes given as 'Walter') "Piper" Jackson of County Limerick. It should be noted that many tunes have been attributed to him, albeit with little or no evidence. There also may be confusion with other player/composers named Jackson.
