D Mixolydian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune's composer, flute player James Murray (b. 1947), is from the townland of Ogham, near Tubbercurry. He is one of the finest exponents of the Sligo flute playing style and was influenced by his uncle Joe, also a flute player. See also the related "John Feehilly's Jig."
