JEANIE'S DOLL IS DRESSED AGAIN. Scottish; Lullaby, Strathspey or Schottische. F Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. "Jeanie's Doll is Dressed Again" was composed by Abereenshire fiddler-composer and Scottish dancing master James Scott Skinner (1843-1927), for Jeanie Munro. Skinner's adopted daughter was named Jeanie, and perhaps her pre-adoptive name was Munro. Afterwards, she was Jeanie Skinner until she married Frank Sutherland.
