JENNY LYNN [1]. AKA - "Jenny Lind," "Jenny Linn" Bluegrass, Reel (cut time). USA, Ky. A Major. Standard or AEae tunings (fiddle). AABB. Composed by Kentucky mandolin player Bill Monroe, the "Father of Bluegrass." The title is not related to the "Jenny Lind" tunes associated with the mid-19th century Swedish Nightingale, although Monroe did play the familiar polka "Jenny Lind (1)" as well, albeit under the title "Heel and Toe Polka (1)."
