JENNY NETTLES [2]. American, Reel. USA; Oklahoma. A Major. AEac# tuning (fiddle). AABB. No relation to the Scottish tune "Jenny Nettles (1)" or the Ozarks tune "Jenny Nettles (3)." It is almost identical, however, to Missouri fiddler Bob Holt's version of "Old Charlie Deckard" (Beisswenger, 2008). Mark Wilson believes there may have been a confusion of the titles at some point, either with Thede or further back.
