JIMMY HENDRICKSON'S WALTZ. American, Waltz. USA, North Dakota. F Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. Composed by North Dakota fiddler and cowpuncher Jimmy Hendrickson (b. 1896), and learned by Pancerzewski about 1917. Pancerzewski admired the older fiddler, who had an old schoolhouse or outbuilding he called "Hendrickson's Hall" where he would give dances. Pancerzewski later himself played there, passing the hat for his work. "Jimmy's Waltz" was a much requested tune.
