JIM KELLY'S BANJO. Irish, Jig. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Composed by Falmouth, Massachusetts, musician and writer Bill Black, in honor of a Massachusetts musician who died in January, 2001. Kelly was a "banjo/box/fiddle/piano player, plectrum maker, storyteller, and all-around great person," says Black, and a unique character active in the Boston Irish music community.
