JOHN IN THE NEITHER MAINS. Scottish, Scotch Measure. F Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB'. The tune appears in the 4th collection of Malcolm MacDonald, dedicated to the Duchess of Breadalbane, with the alternate title "Orchill's Delight." Orchill is an estate in Perthshire, Scotland, site of the estate of the Graham family, a cadet branch of the family of the Dukes of Montrose.
