JOLLY TINKER [1]. Irish, Reel. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). Fr. John Quinn finds a cognate tune in the music manuscript collection of mid-19th century County Cork uilleann piper, collector and cleric Rev. James Goodman as "Girl that Lost her...(The)" (blank word in Goodman's MS, but probably 'Maidenhead'). Further, Fr. Quinn finds an untitled reel noted from the playing of Julia Clifford in 1968 by Brendan Breathnach to be cognate.
