The melody with directions for a country dance was printed in John Hinton's periodicalUniversal Magazine of Knowledge and Pleasure (Jan., 1756, p. 25), and, somewhat later in the same year, in Richard Baldwin's The London Magazine; or, Gentleman's Monthly Intelligencer (p. 397).
