Elias Howe printed the identical tune twice in his Musician’s Omnibus Nos. 6 & 7 (1880-1882), as "The Juggler" and as "Double Shuffle (1)." A third identical tune, points out Fr. John Quinn, was printed in another Howe publication, Ryan's Mammoth Collection (1883) a few years later as "Cosmopolite (The)."
