JUMPERS. Scottish, Hornpipe (2/4 time). B Flat Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB'. "Jumpers" was composed by Aberdeenshire fiddler-composer and Scottish dancing master wikipedia:James_Scott_Skinner (1843-1927). The interval leaps in the melody provide the obvious title; the first strain consists of arpeggiated chords, often descending.
