KELLY'S CELLARS. Irish, Reel. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABC. Composed by Mullaghbawn, south County Antrim, fiddler and piano player Josephine Keegan (b. 1935). Kelly's Cellars is the name of a famous pub in Belfast, dating from the year 1720. The United Irish leader Henry Joy McCracken (1767-1798) hid underneath a counter there from English troops at the end of the 1798 rebellion, although he was later caught and executed.
