KEN YOU NOT LITTLE JACK ROB? AKA and see "Euphie McNab," "Ephey M'Nab," "Ephie McKnab." English, Jig. England, Northumberland. A Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Vickers' collection researcher Matt Seattle explains that the title refers to a character in the Scottish song "Eppie McNab", in which Jack (or Jock) is Ephie's jilted lover:

She's down in the yard,
 She's kissin the Laird,
She winna come hame to her ain Jock Rab.

Seattle points out that the "Ephie McKnab" melodies tend to be "modally ambiguous; some versions are minor, some major, some both, while Vickers' version avoids the 3rd of the scale and is not really either."
