KIIKURI KAAKURI. Finnish, Air. A tune popular in ethnic communities in Michigan, Northern Wisconsin and Minnesota, to whom in many cases during the assimilation process the words to the song were less important than music, having disappeared or been altered, as in this hybridized version:

Kiikuri, Kaakuri, Kirjava Lintu,
Grab him by the ankle and throw him out the window. ... (Leavy, 1984).
