KIOWA SPECIAL. Old-Time, Breakdown. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). ABB'. Kiowa refers to the name of a Native American Indian tribe, currently settled in southwestern Oklahoma. Oklahoma fiddler Earl Collins (whose family was from Arkansas) is generally considered the core source for the tune.
