KITTY QUINN (Caitilín Ní Cuinn/Chuinn). AKA - "Kathleen Quinn." Irish, Air (6/8 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. O'Sullivan (1983) finds no other versions of the tune extent, though notes there are some similarities between this air and Bunting's version of "Huish the Cat." O'Neill's version is an exact transposition of Edward Bunting's version (transcribed in the key of 'F').

Source for notated version: the index to the Irish Collector Edward Bunting's 1840 collection states he noted the piece from the harper Charles Byrne in 1802.

Printed sources: O'Neill (Music of Ireland: 1850 Melodies), 1903; No. 163, p. 28. O'Sullivan/Bunting, 1983; No. 88, pp. 132-133.
