LADIES OF CARRICK [2], THE. Irish, Jig (6/8 time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB'. The jig shares a first strain with "Ladies of Carrick (1) (The)," but the second strains differ. An identical copy of the jig in Hamilton's Universal was entered into vol. 3 (p. 225) of the mid-19th century music manuscript of County Cork cleric and uilleann piper Canon wikipedia:James_Goodman_(musicologist).
