"Lady Catherine Keith's Reel" was printed on a single sheet entitled Six New Reels No. 2 issued by Edinburgh music publisher and seller Niel Stewart ("Sold by N. Stewart & Co. Music Sellers No. 37 South Bridge"). Also on the page were the tunes "Lady Maria Keith's Strathspey" and "Lady Christina Keith's Strathspey." All of them refer to family members of Scottish-Dutch aristocrat Wikipedia:'''William Keith-Falconer, 6th Earl of Kintore (1766-1812), who was the only son seven daughters born to a Dutch born Englishman Anthony Keith-Falconer, 5th Earl of Kintore and his Dutch wife, Christina Elizabeth Sighterman (d. 1809).
