LADY CHARLOTTE FLETCHER OF SALTON. Scottish, Reel (cut time). A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. Andrew Fletcher of Salton Hall, County Haddington, married Lady Charlotte Charteris (1796-1886?), 2nd (or 4th) daughter of the Earl of Wemyss and March, in 1825. Duncan McKercher composed a number of tunes for the Perthshire Charteris-Campbell family, the Earls of Wemyss.
