LADY MATILDA BRUCE'S REEL. Scottish, Reel (whole time). F Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. Composed by Nathaniel Gow (1763-1831), fiddler, composer, music publisher and bandleader. Third son of the great Scottish fiddler-composer Niel Gow. A version also appears in vol. 4 (p. 48) of the mid-19th century music manuscript collection of Church of Ireland cleric and uilleann piper James Goodman."
