LAXO BURN. Scottish, Reel. Scotland, Shetland Islands. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Composed by Scottish national champion fiddler Arthur Scott Robertson. Robertson's son told Randy Miller that Laxo Burn was his father's favourite (sea) trout-fishing stream in the Shetlands. Laxo Burn flows into Laxo Voe. The 'A' part is shared with "Chamberlain Reel (The)," "Reel à Rémi," and "Reel de l'hôtelier," however, the 'B' part appears original to Robertson.
