LOCH AVON. Scottish, Reel. F Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'B. Composed by Alexander Walker, commemorating the lake at Park Villa, Strathdon (a parish in Aberdeenshire), according to the composer's note. Loch Avon, or Loch A'an [1], is the source of the River Avon in the Highlands eastern Scotland. Cairn Gorm lies to the north of the Loch.
