LORD FIFE'S MARCH. Scottish, March (4/4 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. Composed by Aberdeenshire fiddler-composer Biography:Alexander Walker (b. 1819). James Duff, 5th Earl Fife (1814–1879) was a Scottish nobleman and a Member of Parliament for Banffshire from 1837 to 1857. He was created Baron Skene, of Skene, of the peerage of the United Kingdom in 1857 allowed him to sit and vote in the House of Lords. He married Lady Agnes Georgiana Elizabeth Hay, daughter of William Hay, 18th Earl of Erroll and Lady Elizabeth FitzClarence in March, 1846, and the couple resided both in London and Delgaty Castle.
