LOVE'S TRIUMPH. English, Country Dance Tune (2/2 time). B Flat Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The melody dates to the year 1710 when it was published in London by John Young in the first edition of the Second Volume of the Dancing Master [1]. Young retained it in the three subsequent editions of the work, through the final (4th) edition of 1728. It was also published by John Walsh in his The New Country Dancing Master, 2d Book (1710) and Second Book of the Compleat Country Dancing-Master (London, 1719).
