LOVE AND OPPORTUNITY [1]. AKA and see "Love in a nottle-bush." English, Country Dance Tune (2/4 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. "Love and Opportunity [1]" was advertised in a performance bill for the pleasure garden Sadler's Wells for Monday, June 2, 1788, as "A new dance, called Love and Opportunity.
