MACINTYRE'S FAREWELL [1]. Scottish, Air (whole time). G Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. "By Himself" (Gow). Duncan MacIntyre (c. 1765-1807) was a contemporary of publisher, composer and performer Nathaniel Gow (1763-1831). Several of his tunes appear in the later Gow collections.
