MAEVE'S MAZURKA. Irish, Mazurka (3/4 time). A Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. Composed in 1990 by Flamouth, Massachusetts, musician and writer Bill Black in honor of the first child of fiddlers Mike and Rosemarie (Conway) Flanagan (Hudson Valley, N.Y.). Maeve is now herself a touring Irish fiddler.
