MAHONE BAY. Canadian, Jig. Canada, Cape Breton. G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Composed by Robert Joudrey, of the town of Mahone Bay. The famous shipbuilding town of Lunenberg, Nova Scotia, is located on Mahone Bay, southwest of Halifax. Joudrey, composer of over 100 tunes, passed away in 2005. See also his "Bonnie Lea Jig."
