MALONEY'S. Irish, Single Jig. The tune is associated with piper Joe Kilmurray (Ballallen, Ballinacarrigy, Co. Westmeath). It appears in the Stephen Grier (south Leitrim) manuscript of 1883 under the "Maloney's" title, and a version was noted in 1973 from the lilting of piper Kilmurray's brother, Jim.
