MAPLE LEAF JIG. Canadian, New England; Jig. Canada, Québec. G Major ('A' part) & D Major ('B' part). Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Revered contra dance musician and caller Ralph Page [1] (1903-1985) said (in Northern Junket, vol. 13, No. 6, 1979; p. 5) that the tune's provenance was Québec.
