MARSAIL LOCHINALIE. AKA - "Màrsail Loch an Eala," "Lochnell's March." Scottish, Fiddle Pibroch (3/4 time). A Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). ABCDEFG. A programmatic piece that musically invokes a battle. See also Oswald's "Highland Battle (A), a similarly-structured piece that also has been characterized, like "Mairsail Lochinalie," as a 'fiddle pibroch.'
