MATHEW HARDIE [1]. Scottish, Pastoral Air (4/4 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. Composed by Bill Hardie in honor of the famous Scottish violin maker, Mathew Hardie, born in 1755 Jedburgh, Scotland, although he lived, worked and died (in 1826) in Edinburgh. He was popularly known as the ‘Scottish Stradivari’.
