McCARTY'S REEL. American, Reel. B Flat Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The reel appears on a loose page in the music manuscript collection of Setauket, Long Island, New York, painter and fiddler William Sidney Mount [1] (1807-1868). Despite the Irish-sounding title, there is little of Irish character in the melody.
