"McDonogh's Lamentation" is Dublin publisher John & William Neal's and expatriate Scottish cellist and composer James Oswald's version of Turlough Carolan's air "Lament for Terence McDonough." The Irish bard composed it in memory of a Catholic lawyer from County Sligo. See note for "Lament for Terence MacDonough" for more.
