McLENON'S REEL. American, Reel. B Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. Composed around 1979 by New Hampshire composer, accordion and piano player Bob McQuillen. McQuillen was a high school teacher and, as he said in his book, "I am so lucky, because as a school teacher I get to know and enjoy many really great kids." Shawn McLennon was one, and McQuillen named this tune for him, as he did other tunes for other students.
