MEMORY OF ANGUS, A. Canadian, Jig. Canada, Cape Breton. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AA'BB. Composed by fiddler Jerry Holland (1955-2009, Inverness, Cape Breton) in honor of influential Cape Breton fiddler Angus Chisholm (1908-1979). Holland knew Chisholm well, records Paul Stewart Cranford (1995), for as a Boston area teenager he would play guitar accompaniment for Chisholm's regular Sunday night session held at Tom Slaven's Pub.
