MILLER'S RANT [1]. Scottish, Strathspey. D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB. Composed by the great Scottish concert fiddler and composer, James Scott Skinner (1843-1927), from his Logie Collection (1888), reprinted in his Scottish Violinist (1900) set for solo violin. Skinner dedicated it to James MacDonald, a meal dealer in Elgin.
