MISS CARNAGIE'S HORNPIPE. Scottish, Triple Hornpipe (6/4 time). G Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABB. The tune makes more sense in 3/2 time. The melody was entered into the music c. 1780-1804 manuscript collection of John Fife, who was perhaps from Perthshire, but who may have made entries at see (there are references to battles in the Caribbean and the Mediterranean).
