MISS CUMMING'S STRATHSPEY. AKA and see "Lord John Campbell (1)." Scottish, Strathspey (cut time). D Major. Standard tuning (fiddle). AABBCCDDEE. The tune is the composition of Scottish expatriote dancing master Duncan MacIntyre, and was the original of Gow's "Lord John Campbell's Strathspey". MacIntyre taught dance in London and spent some years in India. He died about 1806.
