MISS FALCONER. AKA - "Miss Jessie Falconer's Reel." Scottish, Reel (whole time/cut time). A Dorian. Standard tuning (fiddle). AAB (Davie, Gatherer, Shears): AABB' (Kerr). The composition is attributed to James Mitchell by James Davie in his Davie's Caledonian Repository (1829-30), where it appears as "Miss Jessie Falconer's Reel." (See also Mitchell's composition "Haughton House"/"Auchdon House").
