"Miss Jean Campbell Ardmore's Reel" was composed by Islay fiddler-composer Alexander Mackay (born 1775). It is one of a number of tunes composed for the family of Archibald and Helen Campbell of Ardmore, Islay. Jean Campbell (1807-1860) was one of their children.
