MISS LOUISA DRUMMOND'S REEL. AKA - "Miss Louisa Drummond Logiealmond's Reel." Scottish, Reel (cut time). C Minor. Standard tuning (fiddle). AB. Logiealmond or Logie Almond, Perthshire, was a settlement in Glen Almond, on the River Almond, about 8 miles northwest of Perth city. Louisa Drummond was the daughter John Drummond, the fourth laird of Logiealmond, and his wife Lady Catharine Murray, sister of John Murray, the Earl of Dunmore. They were married in 1767, although John Drummond died in 1781. He left two sons and five daughters, the youngest of whom was Louisa, who married firstly Lieut. Cecil of the Windsor Forresters[1] in December, 1797. In 1805 she married her second husband, Robert Stewart, Esq. of Alderston.
