"Miss Margaret St.-Clair Reddie's Fancy" was composed by fiddler-composer and music teacher biography:James Walker (1771-1840), of Dysart, Fife, one of several he composed for members of the extended Reddie family. There is a Margaret St.-Clair Reddie (1777-1851), born in Dysart to parents Andrew Reddie and Mary Share. She married Thomas Allanson with whom she had 3 children. She passed away on January 1851 in Ripon, Yorkshire, England.
Walker also composed a "Miss M.S. Reddie's Reel," for the same person.
